Default So this was my night tonight

I went out tonight on the ebbing tide. Winds were perfect the surf was amazing. I was destine to be into fish. Sure enough 3rd cast I was on. I knew tonight was going to be a great night for me. Later on after sunset I switched to my FAVORITE plug the darter. And was on again 3 more fish this time. As the drop of the tide approached my night was coming to an end. I made several more casts into the delicious white wash wanting to end the night with a solid keeper. Then all of a sudden WHAM, I knew I was on with a nice fish. As I was bringing her in I don't know WHAT happened but my Lami snapped in two. Trying not to lose this fish I finally land it take the hooks out, and proceed to swear up a storm and throwing my gear around. 1 year old lami out the window....

1) talk to Ray..he has many friends at Lami and can probably get your warrantee honored immediately... he knows how to talk to them...

2) a pic of the fish with the snapped Lami would be sweet...got any?

3) sorry little brother, I guess the price for getting into fish can sometimes be high...the lightning was cool though wasn't it? maybe you were struck by lightning?

4) that's pretty damn impressive... getting the fish to the rocks after breaking the rod I don't think i could do that...

Greg...was that a one or two piece?..originally...not being a wise guy, just curious, Ray's was a 2 pc..he forgot to wax his ferrule or something..

btw...the recent All-Star nite was the one year anniversary of me driving over my rod with the Mystery Machine... still hurts, but I love the new one
