The original pencil emgred is actually a christmas ornament on his christmas tree.

The conrad is a killer as well. A made one with an eel skin for a friend and he guards it with his life.

Many more uses than just fishing... besides a holiday ornament, I use it as a "billy club" for protection on NYC Subways.

That's the original version it was a terd. The new versions are much better, I will be sending you one this winter so you can work on your pencil popping. forget bucktailing, EMGRed will be a death machine believer in no time.

I have to send you the conrad just been busy with work - apologies.

    Default Thanks and Congrats....

on an outstanding how to thread on plug building. It's really well done.

I've always loved tackle craft. I remember first being introduced to that as a kid (11 or 12 years old) using the sawed of end of a broomstick handle ... and hoping a Bluefish might find and attack the somewhat crude offering fishing 3rd Beach or Ledge Road.

A major part of fly fishing that I love so much happens at the bench tying all manner of flies and catching fish on them thar creations.

So KUDOs and admiration for your well explained workable fish art. Thanks again for the thread.

Bump for 2012. This "how-to" was extremely helpful when I started fooling around with this stuff 4 years ago (it was posted on another site). Thank you very much Sir!
