My name is Al Rispoli, currently fishing and living in Newport. We met several years ago at the Edge. I fished Montauk in wetsuits 30 years ago with the likes of Nick Weiss, The Professor,my brother Sam and the like. My parents are still living in Montauk and are getting older. I made a few trips to care for them this fall, bringing my gear, of course. With the permits required, which I didn't have, I was limited to using their EH Town permit and parking near East Deck and walking down to Coconuts and Frisbees. I will be making more frequent trips this year, trying to keep them in their house on Old West Lake. Can you be so kind to give me the lowdown on what permits I need to park under the Light, in the Fort (to fish Brown's and Caswells), and how to go about getting them. I do have a 4 wheel drive. I will probably limit my fishing to the rocks. Any help you can provide will be helpful. Thanks

not sure if you remember me or not. I was in mtk last september with you and nico blitz fishing. we were on the 23 parker that towed you in. we all went to culinary school together. myself and my friend jason were thinking of coming back up there in july for some surf fishing. i'm wandering if it's worth the trip from baltimore; 6.5 hours? If you would'nt mind would you let me know what to expect and if it's worth it for us to come up there or should we wait until the fall run in september/october. any help would be well appreciated, thanks. brandon
