Ha, figured someone would notice that. It's actually a Gibbs test plug. When they used to have the shop near the canal they would need to turn a few to get the machines right and those few were walked down and swam in the canal. Those plugs were then painted white and coated with varnish and then given to employees. A friend worked for them for a few years and has asked me to sell this one for him. It's hitting Ebay for $20 unless someone here wants it first. I think it's a pretty cool part of Gibbs history.

Pilgrims are all topcoated and drying. Eelies may go in the burn pile. I hate building metal lips. That is all.

align lip and mark hole for through wire
through drill from nose to front hook hole

prime
sand
paint
topcoat
bend belly grommets to form around plug
cut 2 3/0 VMC's
assemble
package
repeat
can i have a couple of the ones you throw in the burn pile, because i love metal lips!![]()
Oh forgot, epoxy lip in.
Just enough made the sealer for my open orders. You 2 can have one on me when I throw the next batch away... I mean in sealer. Hopefully Friday.
