Seem like its dead from RI to Mass and all the locations I Fish the only bright side ive seen what looks like peanut bunker or other small bait fish starting to show up in noticeable schools far up the Taunton River nothing under them as for pogies the left as quick as the came Tight lines everyone

I fished the canal and Boston Harbor over the weekend and they were both slow. Good amount of big pogies in the Harbor, as well as fresh out of the pond herring, but there aren't many fish on them. If you can get pogies and fish them around or under the schools you can catch some bass. I also heard the big blues finally found the pogies, but it didn't happen when I was out there.

Can't say anything about RI, but I thought you folks were enjoying some good fishing on peanuts down there. I only hope they find their way up to MV by next month. When albies are on peanut bunker they'll hit just about anything.

what a difference a day makes, hit it yesterday, one loan striper on topwater, plugged away for 2.5 hours, no other guys out, no signs of life.

you must have just hit it wrong,,,,haven't seen and heard this much enthusiasm about the fishin' in a while and that's from just about every arena...broken rods, spooling reels and tackle flying out the door...this is fun, great to see so many happy fisherpeople...hope this keeps up right to fall...could be a special year

nooo....I wouldn't do that, haven't been slamming them myself but just relaying what's been going on in the shop and on our shores and surrounding waters....we're pretty excited about it, everyone seems to be having a great time!
