You know we're making some headway when we've got a live presentation scheduled! For those of you who can't make it tomorrow night to Surf Night I, we've got a treat you can tune into from the comfort of your own home.

DZ will be giving a presentation on Red Gills and has agreed to allow us to broadcast it live at 7pm EST. Being the first in awhile, we can almost guarantee some technical difficulties as we figure it all out tomorrow night, but for those willing to endure you might get a nugget or two to add to your bag of tricks. Tactic's for Block Islands Winter Cod

One of my favorite winter fisheries is the B.I. cod bite. In honor of whats shaping up to be another great year I'd like to announce "Tactic's for Block Islands Winter Cod"!!!!

This broadcast will be hosted by myself, LIVE, at 1pm on Wednesday, December 29th.

This broadcast will go over the essentials in rod and reel choice's, various bait rigs, jigging rigs, techniques, areas, and more. Of course, at the end of the presentation I'll take time to answer any questions specific or general in nature.

The techniques discused are not limited to B.I. and are classic strategies that work on Cod from NJ to Maine, both inshore and offshore on the various NE wrecks. I also discuss a number of other species that can be taken during winter cod trips as well as how to customize you rig to better target these often delicious and trip saving by-catch species.

8.12.2010 - Tweaking Fluke Balls and Other Flatfish Tips

Live at 3pm on Thursday, August 12th Arden will discuss some ways to take the already effective "fluke balls" and adjust them for even greater deadliness. He'll also get into some other tips for these tasty flatfish such as how to make a quick and simple bucktail rig, best live baits and a special retrieve designed to fill the coolers!

Hey folks,

Know a lot of you have been tuning into my live broadcast as of late and I wanted to thank you all for the grateful words and input. Anyway, you may have noticed a bit of a slowdown in footage the last few days and I wanted to apologize for that. Great as it is, there always seems to be a bit more happening then were prepared to handle.

Starting tomorrow the live broadcast ARE BACK IN SESSION!!!

Although we may not be getting one out every day it's my hope to do at least 3 a week moving forward. And while I don't have the whole week planned out yet, tomorrow should be a great one:

"Rigging for Spin Gear Bluefin."
