Fly Rodding the Ocean State

Ted Leesons comment about how the web enables like minded individuals to find each other reminds me of the early days at Reel Time. We recognized we could be "niched" by any number of geographies or prefered techniques; but I was suprised by how little of that actually happened. In some ways it has come full circle. In the end the like minded individuals take the community where they want. For example, flyfishsaltwaters.com does not have much ff content these days and Reel Time recently dropped the word "fly fishing" form our original title.
It used to be I was psyched to get an ff mag with an NE saltwater article. Now it's like I have seen it all and i am more interested in what is happening now/yesterday in an area I fish. Any tidbit, what's working, how weedy, what bait, etc.
