Well its hot and we're transitioning into more of a summer pattern.

What I see in my logs is that while I don't catch as many fish in July, in past years I've tended to catch larger fish in July. I've also found July to be highly structure and tide dependent- not like spring or fall with the fish schooled up. Tide but not as much structure, I find during the periods of migration.

The log shows August has historically been a tough month for me. Not a lot of fish and not a lot of size. I am going to try some new things this year in August. Like golf.
