Happy spring everyone.
I've been quiet for a while but for good reason.
Baby merch arrived September 28th.
Her name is Juliana. Not named after Dame Juliana, but some have noticed the coincidence.
Hope the fall is treating everyone well.

Even on a calm night, a gentle southeast swell entering these rips steepens to a crawl as it tries to migrate west over the ebbing tide. The wave fronts line up and crowd together, attempting to push each other up over the front of the bar. I hate going to the beach.
Sitting around in the hot sun on a towel, bored out of my mind for hours on end always seemed like a less than ideal scenario to me. Obviously there are some good reasons to go to the beach on a hot day in the summer. (), but the older I get the less I care about that kind of thing.

Two things to never leave the dock without enough of.
