    Features:

Yozuri LogoThis incredibly realistic, lipless, shallow-diving lure darts from left to right like an injured baitfish. Combine all these features with Yozuri's famous Weight Transfer System, and you will see how the terrific action of the Mag Darter triggers explosive strikes. We've used these for all the species of gamefish in the Northeast. These small plugs have produced many bass in the high 30lb class and have taken Bluefin Tuna up to 100lbs. This is a guide favorite and when the wind is light to moderate they shine in heavy surf or current from the beach or jetties. A nice rapid retrieve with the occasional bounce of the rod tip makes this lure "dart" from side to side. With a steady retrieve it swims like your basic lipped swimmer and they look fantastic in the water. They also float so when retrieved they will dive and when paused they will slowly float to the surface which has been know to trigger strikes. Give one a try you'll be pleased with the results.

Pros: good castability for small plug
Cons: a bigger size would be nice
    Recommended: Yes
Some days the bass really want this plug. In breachways and rips when you get bumps but no aggressive hits with larger plugs, this is just the ticket. Smaller size probably matches smaller baits. It has saved a few nights for me

    These catch fish!
By Rich from Piermont, NY on 01/04/2010
Pros: Great action, durable hardware, great finish, good castability
    Cons: finish is notoriously flaky
    Recommended: Yes
The wobble action and flash on these little plugs make them proven fish catchers. They're not really a true darter, but behave more like a plastic swimmer. Substituting the rear hook with a dressed siwash makes them even more enticing. One of my favorite light tackle lures.
