The Walking Stick has a irresistible zig-zag, porpoise action, which most gamefish just cant resist. Weighing in at 1 ounce, it's great for the 7 foot and 8 foot rods but will also cast great on a heavier surf rod in the right conditions. It's right at home when fish might be in close to structure and distance is not key. This plug shines when a smaller, slimmer bait might be present and fishing it with a faster line retrieve works best. This plug was responsible for more landed False Albacore than any other small wooden lure this season period as well as countless bass over 30lbs when fished at night like a needlefish.......slow and easy!

Indispensable....

I didn't believe it could attract Albies, as stated by SWE staff, but became a believer last Columbus Day as my partners and I were working a large bait blitz near the Gargners Rips...they were throwing small tins as we knew there were Albies in the mix with Bass and Blues corraling sandeels...I was throwing this, and had nothing but large Albies,while my friends managed only Bass and Blues on their mini tins...go figure!...I rouinely remove the treble and put a 3/O VMC siwash bucktail on the tail end...easier dehooking Blues and the buck adds a little flash......

Bluefish hate these!

And they will attack them mercilessly. Just reel it in fast and it slides and splashes around. I have several that have been gnawed down to a nub! A bigger version might work even better if Tattoo wants to make one. Kind of like the old Reverse Atom, but smaller.
