Pros: stout, easy to use for most lures
Cons: might be a big large for some applications
Recommended: Yes

solid

i read the hype and ordered some up last season and have nothing bad to say here. they do their job. i haven't lost a lure or the clip and the knot even stays put. most lures are easy to clip in but YMMV due to the size and location of various line ties. the 125# will be too big for some sub-1oz lures, IMO. might give the lure a nose-down action. great size, however, for most surf striper fishing lures. they make a 50# which i have but have not used but have it ready for my small crankbaits and light rod.

Ta FiSHiNG CLiPS

1st time I've used fishing clips. Great for surf casting, easy on and off with lures and strong! I would have given 5 stars but no directions on which side to put your knot on.

Great Clips!

Switched from Breakaway clips to TA clips this year and love them. Look and feel much stronger, and simple to swap out plugs and jigs.

great clip

I have been using breakaways for a number of years and have found tactical clips to be a great addition to my bag when using large pikes and darters

Great clips

I love the fact that my leader stays put all of the time! no more having to move my leader back up to the middle of the clip like I had to with other clops. Still the same size as the 80# breakaway but has the strength of 125#! not to shabby!

Great clip

Definitely like these over the breakaways and others. I've had breakaways start bending outwards from loaded up casts and big fish. These? Not so much. They're a little big and tough to use with bucktails though!

Great!

Just used these for the first time today. Easy to get all kinds of plugs on and off quickly and easily - even in the dark. Solid clips.

great for larger plugs, jigs and tins

a little more expensive than the 80lb breakaways, but these are great on bigger tins, jigs and shads and any other time you have a large hook eye to deal with

great

love these things, started using them late in the season last year and found them much easier to use in the dark, just a little tough on plugs with bigger lips

Good with big eyes

Been using the 80# Breakaways for long time; last fall got hold of some of the new 4 1/2 oz Tsunami swim shads that have the heavier duty Mustad hook as opposed to the Ultra Point Mustads; THese hooks have a much heavier eye such that the 80# breakaway clips sometimes (10%, say) would bind causing the shad to swim inclined to one side or another. Got out the other day and tried the 125# TA clips and didn't see the problem -- good news.

Pros: FITS ALL TINS AS WELL
Cons: NONE

BEST OF SHOW

SAME SIZE AS BREAKAWAY'S 80 POUNDER, AND YOU DON'T NEED SPLIT RINGS ON THE FRONT OF YOUR TINS! GET SOME AND SEE FOR YOUR SELF. KNOTS AND LURES TEND TO STAY IN PLACE BECAUSE OF THE POINTED ENDS.

Pros: SHAPE MAKES SENCE

GOTTA BE THE BEST CLIPS

I TALKED TO CRAZY ALBERTO ABOUT THESE AND THEY HAVE BEEN PROOF TESTED ON BIG GAME IN THE SOUTH AND IT'S SHAPE MAKES SENCE. I'VE HAD KNOTS MOVE SIDEWAYS ON THE CLIP OF A BREAKAWAY. ARE BREAKAWAYS BAD? HECK NO! I'VE USED THEM FOR 6 YEARS WITH NO PROBLEM. A LITTLE IMPROVEMENT GOES A LONG WAY.
