Super Strike Heavy Bullet (Parrot)

The Super Strike Heavy Bullet in parrot became a regular plug for me in Montauk this fall. At first light through full light this plug was extremely appealing to stripers in the middle to high teens. One morning I landed five nice stripers and dropped four others. Many other mornings I landed other stripers as well. Montauk has lots of structure and it is easy to lose this plug (I lost one). Make sure upon casting that you are prepared to begin cranking as the plug hits the water. I did not use the plug in the lower water column for this reason. I've used the regular (unweighted) bullet in white and bunker color with some success. I'm a parrot lover now and even use the 3oz heavy SS needle in parrot with good success as well (lost one of these to structure as well). This plug casts a mile. I've got a 10 foot Legend with a VS 200. You will be very pleased with the distance you can get from this plug. Give it a try. You'll like it!

SS Heavy Bullet

Pre-loaded saves the trouble of drilling and loading with shot. Always change the trebles to VMC, but I didn't change the bucktail on this.
