Pros: Cheap, performs well
Cons: Had some construction quality issues
Recommended: Yes

Great starter rod

First surf rod recommended to me by Steve McKenna... Great choice. I still use it in the back bays or targeting smaller fish. Had an issue with the construction... rod snapped at the join of the two halves during a cast with a 1 oz bucktail. Warranty covered it well, however.
