Black color - This model is a stand-out performer at night and in low-light conditions when the biggest fish often feed.
Soft Plastic Material - The material & design gives the Slug-go a unique and super-effective action. Trigger the attack response in fish even when they aren't hungry. Work it fast and twitch the rod tip for a darting action or slow with intermitant "pops" to drive fish wild.
Versatility - The slug-go can be rigged a number of ways to work all parts of the water column and different types of structure. Rigging them "Steve McKenna"-style provides advantages in action and hook-up ratio. Rigging on the back of a leadhead allows you to probe different depths. Or rig "Texas"-style to go weedless. This lure can really do it all. The many different sizes of slug-gos available mean there's a size perfect for your applications and closely resembling the size of the bait in currently in the area.
Time Tested - This is a staple in many a seasoned anglers bag of tricks. Slug-gos have been proven to catch at times when other lures don't. If you're having trouble catching, and want a lure you can fish without the hastle bait, this is it.

Black Sluggo
When this lure is rigged Mckenna Style, it is the closest thing to an eel. It will catch fish for you on a consistant basis. The only downside is that they do get torn easily.

My Favorite Striper Lure
Rig these Mckena style and you got a striper magnet! Bluefish will tear them apart but they will tear any soft rubber apart so it comes with the territory. Very versatile lure!
