SWE Bucktails SWE Premium Bucktails have been known for years to have some of the best quality bucktails around. The fly tiers have known this and now the surf guys making teasers or tying bucktail jigs do as well. We hand grade them and sort them according to hair length. Great for all your fly tying and bucktail jigs. Soft, fine hair that will not "fly away" when tied onto the hook and the whole tail is good not just the mid-section of the tail.

Extra Premium bucktails?

First it took almost a year to get white in..thenI was expecting some huge long tails. I got long hair, but 50% of the tails were gone? Very disappointed and no buy from Dan Baily's and get better tails for half the cost.

Extra Premium bucktails?

Well I saw all the wonderful pictures on the web pages of the giant full bodied bucktails, and waited a long time to finally buy one amd when it arrived it was "not bad" but not what I expected... maybe they just sent me a regular one by accident. I expected a bigger fuller bucktail like the one in teh pictures on the site. They are a good company all my experiences have been good but the bucktail was not the full large bucktail in teh web picture that I paid 4 dollars extra for. Sorry I have to be honest.
