Pt Jude Lures LogoThe Point Jude Wobble Head is a time tested lure for taking huge striped bass from the surf or with a slow troll from the boat. Joe at Point Jude Lures has brought this classic back and for good reason, it catches when fished with a dead eel like no other lure. Also works great with the new rubber eels from Surf Asylum and Surf Hog as well as the Sluggo.
Available in 3/4oz and 1-1/2oz sizes

    Great for soft plastics
By troutman7 from MD on 02/12/2011
Review Title: Great for soft plastics
    Rating: 5
Pros: great action for soft plastics
Review Body: I really like the 1.5 oz size over the 3/4 oz size because it rides lower in the water column. This size works really well with 9" slug-go's.

    Review Title: Effective

    Pros: great action
    Cons: hook needs sharpened
Review Body: What a great lure. I rig it with a Ron Z tail and it has fantastic action. I think the 1 1/2oz version wobbles much better than the 3/4oz.

    They Wobble
By nfndrum from NY on 01/04/2010
    Review Title: They Wobble
    Rating: 4
    Pros: added weight, action, versatile
Cons: one color, only 2 sizes
Review Body: They can be casted or trolled. They create a nice wobbling action and make it an ease to fish certain plastics. Its good to have one in each size .. more colors would be good but they can easily be painted to match your favorite colors just tape off the point. They should add a few more weights to the line up.

    Pt Jude Wobble Head
By Kegger7676 from WW, RI on 12/26/2009
Review Title: Pt Jude Wobble Head
    Rating: 5
    Pros: Versatility
    Cons: None
Review Body: This is a great lure that works. It is simple, very durable and the design keeps the hook point up which leads to less hang-ups if you fish it slow and deep. I like to use big slugos or curly tails on them. They will also work well with dead eels.

Point Jude Wobble Head 1 1/2 ounce
By scottw from newport on 12/19/2009
Review Title: Point Jude Wobble Head 1 1/2 ounce
    Rating: 5
    Pros: highest quality
    Cons: none
Review Body: The best "tool" that you can have in your plug bag, I say tool because it allows you to present a variety of baits simply and easily....I apply a variety of sluggo sizes on with zip ties as well as eels and both benefit from the action that the wobble head imparts as you work them through the water...they make eel fishing simple and productive, I rig two or three dead eels on wobble heads secured with two zip ties and pack them in a small tupperware type box with a couple of extra eels and I'm set for the night, no complicated riging or fighting with live eels....and remarkably productive..
