Just as tough (if not tougher) and effective, but much less expensive then the wood version, this plug is sure to be very popular with fisherman for a variety of species.
In the water this plug behaves as it's name implies. It digs almost as hard as a bottle does with a little more of the wider track through the water that a darter is known for. It fishes well in all conditions and can hang in when a lot of other plugs become unfishable as the seas get bigger.
It tracks well through the water so you can retrieve it slowly and still get it to wiggle but also pick up the pace without worrying at all about it rolling over on you.
This plug weighs in at 2.5 ounces and is 7.25" long.
Pros: ready out of the box, catch fish Cons: none Recommended: Yes
I do love those plug . They are good caster, great swimmers and ready to go out of the box since they come with vcm hooks already. Add that you can swim this plug at many different depth and you know by now that this is my to go plug. I own 3 of them. Yellow, black and bunker pattern.........

Pros: catches fish, good hardware Recommended: Yes
The bottledarter is very durable and has top quality hardware. This lure has excellent action and is great when used with a teaser. It holds well in big water and fast moving water.

NB Bottle Darter Black
The Entire NorthBar line is outstanding. I recently bought a slew of colors from the edge. This lure works like a swimmer in calm water acts like a darter in rough water. Load it up and let it dart through a sweeping current. Fishing two weeks ago on the Merrimack from the mouth with two friends I was the only one hooking up with this black bottle darter. They have hit a homerun with this plug.
