Korkers

Brand:Korkers
Fishing while constantly worrying about your footing is one of the most frustrating experiences you can run into. Korkers goal as a manufacturer has been to address this issue and provide anglers with the sure-footing they need to be able to focus on the fishing. The first thing we recommend to anglers looking to ply the rocky, bubble-weed strewn shoreline of Aquidneck Island is to pick up a pair of Korkers. They are a necessity anywhere where slippery footing is a problem.
Korkers footwear is an essential tool for comfort and safety while fishing. Footwear is obviously a must, but you can't take your chances on unsure footing in current or on slippery rocks while fishing. Their legendary studded sandals cut through bubble weed for a solid footing and their interchangable sole footwear make it easy to customize your boot or shoe to your environment whether you're in the salt, or fishing your favorite stream.

just found out that they discontinued the 1100 plus series (lace up style) which ive worn for years and loved. they were cheap, and light, and lasted for a couple of seasons sometimes. my question is, i have to choose between rocktrax or casttrax i guess. not thrilled about the buckles, but... any input? pros and cons? thanks.

I need a new pair Dave, planning to get the push through studs this time, the newer version is lighter and fewer buckles to contend with (1)...the buckles are much better than laces IMO...never had a buckle on those come undone and my current pair has 3 buckles each shoe...Rocktrax plus....the "plus" being the cost of additional studs

so you suggest the rocktrax plus? now how do you know how to size them correctly? im a size 9, so i dont know where that falls in the sizing chart(med or lg?). it says call to order for the med, but the lrg are in stock. anyway you can hold a pair of each of those so when i come down this weekend, i could size them on the boots i bought? maybe youll need more time before sat. thanks scott, for the input.

you should stop down with your boots, probably a medium, I wear a 9 and thought the large would work but with a scuba boot large was too big...we should have plenty...also, you can purchase the regular Rocktrax and buy some more studs and add them...the holes are there, they just come with fewer studs

thats what i want to do to make sure the fit is right, my boots just came today, so id like to stop in sat. before i fish. i like the rocktrax plus, the cost must be close if you bought the regular and add studs, right? think ill just get the plus and save the time. will they have a med. in by sat., scott? just in case?

no mediums, checking on availability and eta...(1) pair of the lace up versions in medium on the sales floor, double checked with my foot today and even if your boot is a large sole a large Rocktrax is pretty big...I'd guess a medium but you really have to try them on

update, Korkers due here on Monday Dave, mediums will be in the shipment

I think you and those Korkers were meant to be together, they weren't in inventory and found them while searching for a size 9 boot to try in the RT's....very fortunate....and now you can fish this weekend Giddayup!
