GLoomis brand rods occupy many of the top spots in my mind when looking for a factory rod for a specific angling application. Looking for a light inshore rod for striped bass/bluefish/albies? Gloomis is a brand that I was introduced slowly to starting with their inshore rods. They seem to have just about every rod for any species or style or fishing you like to do. Lightweight and extremely powerful and their warranty is amazing. Once you fish one you'll quickly find that the rods inspire confidence. Some of my personal favorites include the Greenwater GWR901S, the Pro Green PGR824S, the Pro Blue 844S, and the Classic SJR844IMX rods.
