The Gibbs Polaris Popper is an all time favorite and is finished in a traditional popper fashion. The key to using this popper is to vary the speed, even letting it come to a rest on occasion. Impart only enough rod tip action to splash the water and create the audible gurgle.T The most common error in fishing these poppers is using to much rod action. Only a small twitch is needed as sound will travel fast under water. These poppers cast great and have produced many fish over 50lbs all over New England. Made using stainless steel thru wire construction, and using top quality terminal tackle and Mustad treble hooks. Bucktail added to the back treble for added attraction.
