Features:
Breakaway clips are fast becoming the preferred method of connecting your lure to your line for many striped bass fisherman. Here are some reasons why:
Easy On and Off - Changing lures can be tough in cold weather or when wearing gloves. These clips make struggling to open up your snap or reaching for the pliers a thing of the past. They make changing lures fast and easy.
No Weakening of Metal - Opening and closing a snap repeatedly can weaken the metal over time leaving you open to the possibility of losing a plug or worse, a plug AND the fish attached to it.
10 per pack - At under $4 per 10 pack these clips are both functional AND economical.

Decided to try these clips and they're performing perfectly. Easy on and off with the lures.

These clips are not only the easiest way to fasten lures but strong as well, haven't had one fail yet.

| Pros: | Great design |
| Cons: | Too small |
| Recommended: | No |
Because of the small size. Takes time to set the lure on. I don't think, it will work very well in a dark.
| Pros: | easy to use, strong |
| Cons: | little too small for 3oz+ bucktails and some tins |
| Recommended: | Yes |
These are THE snaps for plugging. I use them with either an 80 or 130lb Spro Power Swivel and they are the best clips I've ever used. No problems going from a redfin to a bunker snag to a bucktail, the snap is easy to put onto 90% of the plugs in your bag. The only problem I've had with these is that they are a bit too small for bigger bucktails in the 2.5+ ounce range and tins without an external eyelet will not fit on without an additional split ring.

| Pros: | Do not open up, don't snag weeds |
| Cons: | Leader know will slide up |
| Recommended: | Yes |
Great alternative to the old style clips. Can change lures in the dark no problem. So far have not seen any failures in regards to them opening up.

| Pros: | Never comes open |
| Cons: | Not enough in each pack - price |
| Recommended: | Yes |
Best fast clip I have ever used and I have tried them all . You do need to remove teh front split ring from any hard bait to keep the balance correct - but once you do changing lures is simple and fast.
Plus, unlike most other clips these never come 'unlocked"
The only con is that they are expensive
