Love Glove

I use this for wetsuiting and love them. They protect from line cuts, barnacles, and everything else that beat up your hands. They stink after a few uses though. Make sure to clean them thoroughly after each use.

Great gloves

I bought those gloves for me and for my friend as a birthday present. They are great gloves and thanks to the kevlar on the fingertip they are great for use braid line. Especially while surfcasting where you deal with a great amount of cast and sometimes with bait +8oz sinker.....you need to protect those fingers!!!!! they will provide a good protection against barnacles for those of you that rock hop. In my own experience the size chart has been a lil crazy. I will end up buying the small size even if according to the chart i'm a medium. Saltwateredge by the way gives you the possibility of returns so you should be to exchange in case you get the wrong size. Great gloves indeed!!!

good!

NIce gloves that offer good protection on the rocks + thanks to the kevlar good protection against braid cuts.I bought 2 pairs of gloves. One as present for a fellow fisherman and one for myself. One reserve that i have is on the velcro which seems to me not that strong. Rather then that pretty good productPicking the right size seems a bit confusing. According to the chart i should be a medium size but i think actually i'm a small. Will let you know since i will order soon a small.

Aquaskinz Gloves

Love these babies - better grip on all that you need to handle in the surf. Plus keeps your fingers from getting "bitten" from braided line. Personally feel these are a must have for any surfcaster. Makes handling toothy fish easier as well.

Pros: Dexterity & Protection
Cons: Not Waterproof

Good Gloves

These gloves are great to use during fishing and I can perform all the casting and lure changing I normally can. Only downside is the palm side is NOT waterproof. Your hands will stay warmer than without, but not dry if you dip them in the water.

Great gloves

Bought these for the cooler nights and mornings, and they have been great. Perfect for casting with braid, handling fish, and keeping the fingers a bit warmer. Also, the velcro is good to help seal drytop sleeves even better.

Aquakinz Thunder Gloves

I've been using these gloves for a few years for both surf and kayak fishing. Unlike most gloves, they provide great dexterity allowing you to snap on duolocks or breakaway clips without removing. Make sure not to get them over-sized. One pair had the kevlar index finger tip peel off after a while. For cold late season weather, not suitable or nearly as warm as Glacier gloves. Biggest problem, however, is I keep losing the right glove- I now have three lefts!

Pros: Comfortable and they protect my hands.
Cons: They are gloves.

Surfcasting Gloves

Gloves are needed to protect the anglers hands when surfcasting. These Aquaskinz gloves do that well with the addition of the palm and finger pads, plus they keep your hands dry and are comfortable when holding the rod and fighting a fish. I will not fish without them.

Aquaskinz

These are great gloves that do an excellent job of protecting your hands. The pros of wearing gloves while you fish greatly out weigh the cons. If it's warmth you're looking for, get the Glacier Gloves.

Best Gloves Ever

I am not the fisherman in the family. I ordered these gloves for my son, Dana, who is addicted to fishing, especially deep-sea and surf-casting. He's currently deployed in Afghanistan for a year but is dreaming of spending time fishing again. If you have a nifty catalog you could send me that I could mail to him so he can have "sweet dreams" while serving, I would greatly appreciate it. He LOVES the gloves! Thanks - Noreen Pohlson-Massey

Good Fishing Gloves

The only gloves I can cast braid with. They will wear over time but braid would wear any glove out.Overall a good product that I would purchase again.

Aquaskinz Thunder glove

I was against wearing gloves for a long time. When I switched to braid, I would tape my casting finger with hockey tape. One day I ran out of tape in my truck but luckily I had these gloves in there all season and never used them. Today was the lucky day for my skinz gloves. Since then I rarely surf fish without them. My hands used to look like those of a mutants after a night or morning of fishing. Destroyed by barnacles and bass, and soggy to the bone; however, now with the gloves I can prevent all of the above. Although they may not be suitable for wetsuiting in cold water, I recommend these for many surfcasting applications, or even if you are standing on terra firma casting and would like to protect your precious hands from the common hazards when fishing.

Pros: protection
Cons: bad velcro

comfortable gloves

These gloves are definitely worth the $20 price tag. I fish 3-5 days April-November. And these gloves have held up pretty well all season. Eventually the finger will begin to tear, better the Kevlar finger then your own! The Velcro wrist closure will begin to break down and be hard to keep closed. Other then those problem's I've encountered I wouldn't hit the water without them.

NO GLOVES NO FISHING

THIS IS THE GREATEST THING IN MY TACKLE BOX. I HAVE 3 PAIRS OF THESE BECAUSE ONE COULD BE DRYING. HANDING FISH, PLUGS OR CASTING WITH BRAID, THESE GLOVES ARE WONDERFUL. I'VE BEEN SEWING UP THE EVENTUAL BRAID CUT WITH 20# SUFFIX BRAID AND THEN THEY GO ON AND ON.

Let it rain

This top lives up to its reputation. Very comfortable and easy to put on. The tight fitting cuffs take some time to get used to but they keep you dry
