Constructed from 22oz Vinyl Coated Polyester which is 100% Mildew and U.V. Resistant. For the binding we used a Flexible Vinyl-Coated Polyester that is very light- weight and extremely strong. This sheath is expertly designed by Aquaskinz to fit our AP-8 Pliers perfectly. This design won't take on water and get weighed down. It fits our pliers so perfectly that you'll always know they are safe and secure on your hip.

Purchased this set after buying a competitors pliers that were half the price with the same claims that left me livid over its poor performance. I have to say that I'm rather impressed with the performance of this duo so far. The ability of this tool to cut, crimp and just plain hold has more than exceeded expectation although its early in the season. If this performance keeps up in the surf all year, I'd be happy to give it a glowing recommendation.
