Pros: the big eye, thick bucktail
Cons: for the surf..the ring could be further forward
    Recommended: Yes
like most bucktails, these are better suited to boating than shallow surf. I like the big eye but the ring could be set at a 45 angle off the front to prevent dragging the bottom on slower retrieves.

The eye is the key to this bucktail jig aside from the heavy hook. Predator fish are attrached to the eye of a baitfish. I used to glue them on my bucktails, now I don't have to. You'll experience more hook ups with the eye !!!
